A Personalized Approach
Jason Soloway is the sommelier, wine educator, former restaurant owner, and overall wine enthusiast behind Stomping Ground. Drawing on his expertise and knack for hospitality, Jason’s mission is to deliver a rich experience that is tailored to each client’s needs.
A Toronto native, Jason began his wine education at Western University where he combed the aisles of the local LCBO for the best bottle under $10. After earning his graduate degrees, Jason received a diploma in culinary management as well as two sommelier certifications. Over the last 20 years, Jason has brought his expertise to private collectors, corporations, restaurants, bars, and a variety of food, beverage and hospitality operations. He has lived in Boston, Seattle, and New York (where he opened two restaurants — both earning glowing reviews), and has since returned to his old stomping grounds of Toronto.
